For the best cover scent you can possible get your hands on.
Prior to hunting season gather some foliage from some trees/shrubs that are prevalent in your hunting area. Take the branches/material you gathered and place it in a tupperware container along with your hunting duds. Usually 36 hrs of time is more than sufficient to turn you into a tree/shrub. I like to use cedar branches, both because the scent of cedar is pleasant to me, and it is a natural bug repellent that will keep the mosquitoes and flies away during the day. There are many good choices for hunters to use across the country, such as sagebrush, walnut, maple, pine, fir, etc.
