Romney "loves firing people"

Uploaded on January 09, 2012

Today Mitt was telling the crowds how much he enjoyed firing people.
Fits in well with the Bain Capital philosophy.

Now in fairness, Mitt was trying to explain his preference at the ability of citizens to switch insurance carriers.
But whenever I have switched insurance carriers I always said: "I switched insurance companies", or "I dropped statefarm and picked up allstate".

I know I know, out of context...but that seems to be quite the norm for discussion around here.

Wanna take a gander at a group that better luv "firing people?" Take a look at the socialist governments in Europe that have to apply "Austerity measures" to survive. We are talkin firing lots, and lots of govt union workers as a big part of that austerity measures. Take a look at California that Jerry Brown, the liberal governor just presented a 7% increase in this year's budget saying the good folks of California are "compassionate" and want to help those in need. They are only $26 Billion in debt, and Brown proposes a 7% increase in govt spending? California's socialists are going under just like countries in Europe are going under. They don't seem to be able to "fire people." Look for a lot of govt pension plans, union plans especially to go under this year because the liberal govts in blue states "don't understand they need to "fire people."

I can't hardly wait to see what the campaign will make of Mitt's gaff.
Probably interviews with folks he really did fire, and there are many.

Nothing will be made positive for democrats. You forget, conservatives understand ECON 101...don't assume everyone's bulb is as dim as your's regarding ECON 101. This will give Mitt an opportunity to explain what PRIVATE investment capital does as compared to having tax payer money spent worthlessly by a socialist administration overseeing an economy creating crony capitalism, and why jobs are lost, and why we have such high unemployment.

Down with bossy people, boo hiss.
Firing people is really mean, Romney probably needs to be re-educated or something.
Not only will the media go and find people that were fired by Romney, they will seek out friends, neighbors and distant relatives of said victims. Randy Johnson of Marion, Indiana is a good example of Romney's victimization, as long as you are willing to eliminate the facts you can really feel sorry for Randy-boy. It's all fair game, we need to make sure all these guys are pure and clean as the wind driven snow. But when the media lets Obama slide on his obviously concealed past, they get jobs in his administration. All is fine when the media writes the rules and sanitizes the news. I'm comforted by the fact that they still consider themselves 'objective' wink wink.

phlzor..Don't think so this go round. It will not be easy sleddin for the Obominator this go round. Conservatives are motivated, and will not have a John McCain they really didn't care for as the nominee, saying he doesn't want to attack Obama. Especially if Newt is the nominee. This is a issue related campaing, and Obama will have a hard time not defending what he has done, and just attacking, character assassinating. And, he has a lot of issues about himself to answer this go round.

I did not enjoy it but when I was in the Army I relieved many incompetent people, which resulted in their premature and UNWILLING rapid departure from the Army. Also as A Department of the Army Civilian Supervisor I did the same. Some people get fired because that is what they deserve. O'Bozo more than most.

Why capitalism works, and socialism as a governance always goes bankrupt. And why recessions have a healthy, cleansing side to them. Inefficiency is weeded out, and better operations, better run survive, and the economy then grows again. Under this regime?...prolonged pain, much, much longer than it had to be. And debt becomes massive because of it. Crony capitalism is a result, and good operations can not compete because the socialists pick and chose who they want to win...you get Solyndra, and many more like Solyndra.

I am anticipating that the media will overreach and finally get called on it this time around. last time around Oblahblah had apparently been dropped from the heavens and had no background to investigate so he was not properly vetted. I am not a big fan of Gnewt or Mitt but if one of them can show up on game day and take Mr. Oblahblah to task on his record I will be very impressed. Hillary was harder on him than any of the Republicans in 2008, she is the one that brought up the Chicago slum lord (Tony Rezco) controversy to light and the media just....let....it....slip.....away.....
Does anyone know where Barry's friend Tony is today?
