Big Game Hunting
Not really sure if Rick Santorum ever had much of a chance, but he's pretty busy killing his own campaign.
Seems he was having a talk and was explaining his position on welfare...usual GOP line about wanting to create jobs to lift folks out of poverty but focused on "blacks", as if only African Americans populate welfare and food stamp rolls.
When confronted about his ill advised comment, Santorum denied using the term "blacks"...said he used the term "blahs".
Now I try to be open minded about things, so I'll just take ol' Rick's word as gospel as soon as somebody introduces me to a person of "blah" heritage.
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=santorum%20calls%20blacks%20blah&...
Please, I can't click the link, when I hear the word Santorum and Google in the same sentence I rush to the laundry room for brain bleach.
I know, too funny.
Newt is a human hand grenade...and he has his hands on his pin.
About to give that political wannabe from Massachusetts a drubbin with his own superpac to the tune of $3.7 million spent in S. Carolina TV ads attacking the predators at Bain capital. Even if it costs him the nomination.
Paul is the loony relative that every family tries desperately to disown.
Perry wants to re-invade Iraq, and Santorum seems to forget the folks of SouthWestern Pennsylvania who're so dirt poor they can't even pay attention, but think only African Americans receive welfare.
Pretty convenient when Obama can count on Repubs slashing at Repubs. What ever happened to Reagan's 11th commandment?
(Republicans shall not attack fellow Republicans?)
Real treasure trove of 30 second spots for the upcoming general.
Huntsman might pull a #3 in NH. I wonder what's going to happen with the primaries, will Republicans keep on trying out different candidates? No one is going to accuse Newt of running for VP.
Steve Colbert had an agreement with the SC Republican Party to name the primary after him and he'd pay for it but a judge shot it down. Said mostly anything can be bought. And he was also to get a referendum on "are corporations people" started a PAC. The party had already printed the ballots. When the Repubs failed to appeal, he made the same offer to the Dems who were equally eager to be bought.

You libs are a joke. Given your backdrop of voting for, and listening to all the crap coming out of Obama's mouth, and then given the results of his support for all of his destructive policies...not ONE has proven beneficial, you have the nerve to nit pick at what a GOP candidate says...and especially suggesting racism given Obama has been the most racist President we have ever had?...called lots of gall.
Sayfu,
Face it, Hoski is spot on in the reply to Rat above, although I don't usually agree with his politics.
WA Mtn.
I don't read hoski's posts PAST the first BS he puts out, and he usually does that early on. I read...Newt is a human hand grenade. No he isn't. The guy is brilliant. He's got incredible solutions to all of our problems and can articulate them. Just listen to how he exposes the liberal media, and the liberal moderators that pose the liberal questions...the guy is brilliant as to how he can re-frame the question, and put it into context. Hoski is a far left winger. The voters have a clear choice. Do you want to right the disastrous economic situation we are in, or do you want to vote for more hoski/Obama socialism? The choice is clear. Hoski will make every attempt possible to support socialism.
And Mtn...."attacking "predators at Bain Capital?" There were no "predators at Bain Capital" That is a hoski lie. Newt is retaliating for the negative ads Romney put out against him, and trying to effect the polls, but again, hoski shows his complete ignorance as to ECON 101, and why an executive would have to fire people. Obama would not fire his govt union employees even though that is the austerity measure we have to do...instead he hires more!...and hoski doesn't get it, and is either stupid, or a far left wing ideolog. You tell me which one it is.
"Earmark Rick" is an idiot, straight up. Took more money from the health care industry than any other congressman during his tenure. Surprised he moved up in the polls at all, but it seems everybody gets a turn. I do miss the billboards that would pop up all over Pennsylvania when he was up for re-election: big picture of Rick with a shotgun over his shoulder simply stating "I'm Rick Santorum, and I'm the NRA."
Hoski, you linked to a NY Times article. Very biased rag. Here's a better source for the school issue:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,138984,00.html
I just don't like Santorum's personality but there's lots of people in the world I don't like. His statements about homos don't bother me. It's his working the system to his personal benefit that gripes me. Sounds like something a Democrat would do...
backcast...Your stinky liberalism is oooozing out of your pores. How'd Santorum "TAKE" more money from the healthcare industry? This outta be good IF you post. And funny thing about BAIN CAPITAL that some candidates are attacking Romney for, and liberals are happy to hear these candidates coming from the liberal left like hoski has on the Rich predators scamming money from the big corporations.....Romney, for his founding of the company, has been given $34,000 in campaign contributions. OBAMA?..RECEIVED $76,000 in campaign contributions form Bain Capital.
PigHunter, "Sounds like something a Democrat would do"?
Ouch!
But of course you're right...everyone knows every GOP politician is the giver of light and as pure as the driven snow.
Shall we discuss your pick (Gingrich) and his House ethics conviction-fine-and eventual ouster from the Speakership?
Perhaps next you could explain the difference between lobbying, influence peddling, and merely being a "historical adviser".
And you might finish up by explaining to us how Mr. Gingrich can go from admonishing the moderator in the first debate just a few short months ago about trying to highlight the differences between the candidates, (which is the whole purpose of the never ending debates) and his proclamation that all the candidates on the stage are great men and it's the media who tries to divide the GOP candidates... to his most recent tactic of making sure Romney isn't the eventual nominee with his $3.7 million ad buy attacking Bain Capital---funded by his friend the casino owner Adelson.
Sorry, I forgot...I will likewise continue to discount anything linked to FOX on the same basis of bias.
Pighunter...if you want help with more of hoski's lies about Newt I can sure help. The guys as transparent as you can get. You can see right through his socialist agenda.
Sayfu,
I think most folks accept the fact that the GOP candidates are just trying to throw each other under the campaign bust to get ahead in the race. Politics as usual, but in this age of electronic media, statements can be played back over and over, even out of context, to make one look like an ass. I'll bet you see a lot of primary statements repeated and poked at by the Obama campaign when it is time. Recall the sniping Joe Biden and Hillary did at Obama leading up to the nominating convention? One of them is his Veep and the other his Sec. of State after they both said that he did not have the experience to run the country, was not qualified, etc.
Hoski, discuss all you want, the 'questions' you typed above are trivial and make no difference to me. Gingrich is the best candidate by far, including Obama.
Sayfulla, they OFFERED, he TOOK...simple as that. If you need me to explain that to you, you're more hopeless than I thought. I'll tell you though, I'm disappointed to see that you've fallen off the tea party bandwagon so hard...musta hurt pretty bad. Your tea party candidate Bachmann has turned tail and run off like a whipped pup after gettin' trounced, and you continue to tout the Big Government guy as the best choice for PUSA. That's why nobody listens to anything you have to say, you contradict yourself repeatedly and have ZERO credibility. Like the TV injuns used to say, "Sayfulla speak with forked tongue".
Sayfulla speak translation: "oozing stinky liberalism"= I don't like any of the candidates he espouses.
PigHunter,
Trivial?
Convicted of ethics violations and it's trivial?
Kind of makes any criticism you have for Obama pointless if you're prepared to forgive and forget Newt's conviction, punishment, hypocritical, divisive past.
The three info commercials Newt is running in South Carolina, are pretty convincing to me. I'd call them less an attack ad more a filling in the bio of Mitt.
Loose cannon Newt might be, but at least he didn't build his career on laying people off, and when he says something it just might well be what he really thinks.
That's because you know zip about ECON 101 ! Newt knows he is wrong about MITT, and just trying to slow down MITT's overwhelming momentum. They can all give it up, go back home, and support MITT..it is over! Romney is the nominee! Way too much money, and way to big of an organization. And the Republicans, and a high percentage of independents are behind MITT. The landslide has started. And we do not need your warped mind's support for MITT. Let the Obama asskickin begin!!!
Yes, trivial. It was about using some PAC funds in 1993 to support a political college course taught by Gingrich. The Democrats made it into a witch hunt. But you already know all of that.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/govt/leadership/ethics.htm
It's laughable that you try to define my critism of the current administration as pointless. If you check my 2011 posts you will see that I've attacked Obama's fiscal policies and have left his lack of ethics for others to comment on.
As Newt correctly saw it, in order to reform welfare that was championed under Clinton who admitted welfare had to be reformed, Newt's brilliant mind saw the need to educated folks, and educate a segment of the population that we had to move away from the big welfare state democrats had created...and along with the WA Establishment Republicans I might add. And Newt accomplished it, but he needed money to accomplish it. The IRS never prosecuted Newt for using public funds for a private interest. All charges were dismissed on that grounds. And Newt could not have been convicted of ethics violations by congress without the support democrats got from the WA establishment Republicans! And that is the problem Newt has run into now running for President. The WA Establishment Republicans are against him. That is why the TEA Party folks are such an important factor in this year's elections.
Now Fulla's on the Romney bandwagon. Romney's as close to Obama as you're gonna find in this field of suitors. You are as fickle and prone to crushes as a junior high girl. For Mitt's sake I hope Huntsman doesn't come on strong to ya. You'll break his heart. Fulla 's in love with whoever whispers sweet "econ 101" nuthins' in his ear. It's the flavor of the week with him, despite his former "tea party" grandstanding.
Backlash,
BS...I'm on the side of the GOP chosen candidate...all but Ron Paul. No similarity at all in Romney as apposed to Obama. Economics 101 that I have been jamming up your liberal arse since day one, and you have NO response to, is the number #1 critical issue by far in the election. And Romney knows how to create jobs, and knows ECON 101. I have no problem switching candidates. I wanted Newt, and know who is against his winning the nomination. He loses. And he has made some critical mistakes here recently. The party is behind Mitt, and so am I for good reasons. Would you like to tell me how Mitt is like Obama?....Please do not get lock jaw like you have everytime in the past.
Sayfu, stop using "WA" as an abbreviation for D.C. Your slip is showing again.
Not voting for Mitt. I'll do a write-in for the General Election if I have to.
Did I do that again?! I hate to spend much time reading especially the lies that hoski puts out, or rat puts out, and try to read more clearly others posts. Remember the lie hoski responded to the guy about GM saying "just understand, no one was given anything!" Can you think of a bigger lie perpetrated on this rag? Only $20 billion dollars was given to the UAW that's all...no real gift. And I quickly reviewed back, and do not see where I mixed up DC and WA ST. again. Did you see where WA St. is the ONLY state that doesn't allow the duck, Mojo decoys? Liberals at it again. 56 states that allow it, and only WA does not. There are 57 states are there not?
I see the rat pack is still stirring the pot.
PigHunter,
Of course...you're right...being ejected from the speakership is small potatoes.
Shutting down the functions of our Govt. was helpful...how many seats did that stunt cost the GOP?
And then we can get to the juicy stuff about Newt's leading the charge to impeach Slick Willie for being so immoral...all while conducting his own "research" about extra marital affairs.
Yep, a real stand up guy, just who we want as the face of America to the world.
Well hello Moishe...err Jere.
Anything we should know about the change of identities, like was your old email box too full of crazy stuff? Or perhaps the meds finally kicked in?
Moishe is JERE? Man, this is following a definable pattern. Liberals get paranoid after a round of exchanges with conservatives regarding the facts. I've seen this played out over, and over. Liberals become schizos.

The transformation from Moishe to Jere Smith is just plain weird.
Pighunter..Sure fits in well with these threads then cus there sure is a few weird folks on them.
For sure!
Pighunter
I'm thinkin you are thinkin that I is one of the weird ones. Don't know why I thinks that. It's everyone else that is weird.
Sayfullah, you wouldn't be so paranoid if everyone wasn't out to get you ;-)
You got me walkin in 360 circles Pighunter, lookin out for all of these dudes out to get me.
Admit it; you love all the attention, even if it's negative. Have fun and don't take things here so seriously like you do most of the time. You obviously have a sense of humor. Free off-topic advice from The PigHunter, LOL!
No, I take my liberalism very seriously. I would give a lot in a heartbeat to rid the country of it. A very dangerous cancer, and a lot of voters see it the same as I do. No time for passively sitting back, and not taking it seriously.
Sayfulla asks "How is Romney like Obama? He isn't at all" he says. How about "universal Romneycare" for one, a pretty big similarity at THAT. How about the slick, media ready image for another? Romney is probably the most moderate of all the front runners, as his father was before him. While he's proved himself as a succesful businessman, there is more to running this country than economics. Can't overlook foreign policy, especially in this millenium. How does econ 101 figure into his views on that? I'm still disappointed in your abandonment of your self professed "tea party values". You were all about Gingrich a few weeks ago, when you should have been behind your gal Bachmann, since she was still in the hunt, on paper at least. Which principles of economics is it you constantly reference? The only thing you've been shoving up anyone's arse(besides BS) is the heading ECON 101, which can be had in any college catalog. The only economic "principle" I know for sure you favor is the so-called "trickle down theory", which BTW, some conservative economists(Sowell for instance) say doesn't exist. Why don't you put your money where your mouth is once and for all, and enumerate the specific principles of economics that are going to get this country back on track? Take your time now, you might want to go to the library and check out a book, I don't expect you come up with anything off the top of your pointy little head. Consider it an open book test. Also, Pennsylvania doesn't allow automated decoys, and there are at least 70 states at last count.
He who shall not be responded to shows true colors.
"I take my liberalism very seriously"
Registered Dem yet Sayfu? Care to join OFA for some canvasing?
Role reversal? RR a Reagan Republican?
LOL!
backcast..How about you are just spewing sound bit liberal bullcrap about Romneycare? You know Jack schit about Romney care, or you wouldn't have asked the question...that, or you are a liberal ideolog. Romneycare BORROWED no money. It was affordable to the state. Romney has stated over and over the differences between Romneycare and ObamaCare, and the differences are huge. Open your ears lefty, and quit spewing liberal BS.
backcast.... I didn't read the rest of your post past the BS that Romneycare is the same thing as ObamaCare. Then I read a little farther, and you don't even understand basic decent economic policy that puts you in the "I am a liberal ideolog catagory." Now your boy Obama, wants to "consolidate", reduce, cut costs of big govt he says,....about 12 agencies ALL OF WHICH ARE PRO BUSINESS AGENCIES from here at home to foreign trade...pro pro-capitalism agencies that he wants cut that would be favored by conservatives that understand ECON 101. Then he "fires" 80,000 soldiers! NO problem doing that. National defense personel, but not local cops! Can't cutback there. They are only local defenders. Ever wonder why lefty?
Ok I will explain what happened, I was trying to log on with the old login I had, I had been offered the option to use the facebook log in,but declined for almost a month, then the last time I tried 5 times with the old one and could not, SOOOOOOOOOOO I used the facebook login and it changed to my real name. So for the guys that think Jere is weird... It was my Mom's idea, she liked Jeremiah in the Bible (Being Jewish of course) But she shortened it to Jere and I have been grateful all these many years (70) of them. Moishe is a derivative of MOSHE/ Moses, and has been my nickname even when I was in the Army. I have noticed many new names lately and suspect there will be others. I think it may be a good thing. Thats all folks. (Til later of course).
All my former post's here have the new name I am not trying to hide anything Hoski. Thank you for asking.
Awwww, Jere, nothing in my post mentioning any attempts at hiding anything, just wanted to know if there was some epiphany moment or something.
Leave it to Fu Fu to find some sinister motive for Obama's proposal to consolidate a bunch of overlapping agencies eliminating redundancy after redundancy.
Too, I hope all noticed he put forth a proposal that will reduce Govt. waste.----as in he asked.
Notice too that the authority he ASKS for has until fairly recently been afforded most all Presidents.
It was eliminated by Tricky Dicky I believe as punishment aimed at one of his agency heads who had the temerity to speak ill of his boss.
Notice too that up to this point, no significant GOP talking head has any real objections...well, except the afore mentioned Fu Fu.
Nice try, Fu Fu. Just as I thought, you don't read past the first line of a post before your eyes cross and you start pounding the keyboard with both fists. Railing about the current administration is not econ 101. I think you've got a problem with reading comprehension. Pretty sure you didn't make it through school without a wrap around or a cadre of tutors, 'cause you can't argue, just spew garbage like a pint sized Sean Hannity. Romney is the closest in the race to Obama, period. Your logic doesn't pass the smell test, you consevative wanna-be.
backcast,
Awhile back, when I was still in the habit of directly corresponding with "he who shall not be responded directly to"...Fu Fu freely admitted to cheating in college...said the only way he made it through English Lit was because he sat next to the smartest student in the class...called the Literature class "the great weeder outer".
And to think he now claims to have a teaching cerificate, thankfully he claims to be only a substitute.
Ha! That explains the disparity betwixt the Fu and myself, 'cuz I was an English major. Thanks, Hoski. Actually, I've considered the error of my ways. You see, heretofore, I had extended Fu the courtesy of assuming that he was a rational, educated person. I may have "overextended" that courtesy. Since I work in mental health, I'm going to apply the same principles used in the therapeutic milue. You see, you can't be rational with someone for whom reality is a part-time address, at best. In the future, I'll bear in mind that Fu isn't always "here" and treat him accordingly. Apparently, he feels the Fox news pundits are the smartest guys in the class, and he's hitched himself to their star to get by.
hoski...You do not have to be a Rhodes' Scholar to be a teacher. Remember, teachers are unionized. The dumbo that earns his certificate after attending a unionized system gets as much protection from having to perform well, or to know anything as the person that can perform well, and does know something. Hoski knows the system. Called dumbing down. Look at hoski's knowledge of Econ 101. The democrap union headed by Barrack Hussein gave him and "A" in economics, and hoski gave Hussein his vote. English...my second language. I hated it. Bored the hell out of me. I could have gotten excited about learning Ubonics. I even talk inner city to the students..that which I know. But, I do know Economics, like all the GOP candidates know. Gives me confidence we will reconver as a nation.
Hey, don't wanna ruin your street cred, but it's EBONICS, as in Ebony, gangsta! Fulla's pretty much telling us he skated by as a C student, in economics as well elementary ed. Want proof? The nation will "reconver"!
"Reconver" was a typo error. And it is Ebonics now that I see it. I was going to spell it EUbonics, and that would have been wrong also. Yes, I was a C student, and lucky to get a C in college. All those darn labs that I had to take along with that darn English course, really screwed up my pool game. And thanks for that "gangsta" label. I like that one. Makes me feel like I'm a hoski/union member, smokin the big ceeegar like Big Louey.
WAM if I had to pick a Republican whose outlook most closely exemplified mine I'd say Eisenhower. Reagan was all Friedman all the time. Short term it causes bubbles, long term it runs up the debt and causes huge income disparity, it's unsustainable, and we've done very little to change direction. I think Eisenhower was the last of the Communitarian strain of modern American Conservatism.
Long term it runs up the debt? Talk about some ballist for your boat. No, Ronald Reagan had the tax receipt coffers overflowing as Reaganomics expands the economy...but let a liberal get ahold of the tax receipts as in liberals in congress along with a bunch of WA Establishment Republicans?..that is where the debt is created...they ALWAYS WAY OVER SPEND buying votes.
Need more proof "he who shall not be directly addressed" concerning his desperate lack of knowledge in the here and now?
Consider his post, from Sayfu wrote 2 days 23 hours ago-"I hate to spend much time reading"---
or this gem, "You do not have to be a Rhodes' Scholar to be a teacher. Remember, teachers are unionized. The dumbo that earns his certificate after attending a unionized system"--------
So in Fu Fu's world just "attending" is equal to "earning" and then he brags about teaching in "street" to his students.
Is there any wonder why sometimes we worry about the next generation?
And these Sayfuisms are in just this thread.
hoski,
HAHAHA I want to teach street wise students. I don't want some good conservative that I taught to run into a liberal union thug like you somewhere. Rape, pillaging, and plundering has been your professional life!
Not very often I've been accused of rape.
Just proves my point that "he who shall not be directly addressed" is a fanatic.
I wouldn't address me either if I couldn't face the facts and support the unsupportable failed ideology that you support. Rape can be used as a general term as in ripping folks off, and you have sure stood for that. Wanna give your assessment why Hostess just went BK, and thousands will lose their jobs?
RR the "Brain Bleach" obviously is not working.

Not very often I've been accused of rape.
Just proves my point that "he who shall not be directly addressed" is a fanatic.
Please, I can't click the link, when I hear the word Santorum and Google in the same sentence I rush to the laundry room for brain bleach.
Hoski, discuss all you want, the 'questions' you typed above are trivial and make no difference to me. Gingrich is the best candidate by far, including Obama.
Sayfulla speak translation: "oozing stinky liberalism"= I don't like any of the candidates he espouses.
The three info commercials Newt is running in South Carolina, are pretty convincing to me. I'd call them less an attack ad more a filling in the bio of Mitt.
Loose cannon Newt might be, but at least he didn't build his career on laying people off, and when he says something it just might well be what he really thinks.
Yes, trivial. It was about using some PAC funds in 1993 to support a political college course taught by Gingrich. The Democrats made it into a witch hunt. But you already know all of that.

It's laughable that you try to define my critism of the current administration as pointless. If you check my 2011 posts you will see that I've attacked Obama's fiscal policies and have left his lack of ethics for others to comment on.

For sure!
Role reversal? RR a Reagan Republican?
LOL!
Well hello Moishe...err Jere.
Anything we should know about the change of identities, like was your old email box too full of crazy stuff? Or perhaps the meds finally kicked in?
The transformation from Moishe to Jere Smith is just plain weird.
Pighunter..Sure fits in well with these threads then cus there sure is a few weird folks on them.
Pighunter
I'm thinkin you are thinkin that I is one of the weird ones. Don't know why I thinks that. It's everyone else that is weird.
All my former post's here have the new name I am not trying to hide anything Hoski. Thank you for asking.
Awwww, Jere, nothing in my post mentioning any attempts at hiding anything, just wanted to know if there was some epiphany moment or something.
You tell me which one it is.
backcast...Your stinky liberalism is oooozing out of your pores.
Pighunter...if you want help with more of hoski's lies about Newt I can sure help. The guys as transparent as you can get. You can see right through his socialist agenda.
Backlash,
BS...I'm on the side of the GOP chosen candidate...all but Ron Paul.
I see the rat pack is still stirring the pot.
Moishe is JERE? Man, this is following a definable pattern. Liberals get paranoid after a round of exchanges with conservatives regarding the facts. I've seen this played out over, and over. Liberals become schizos.
No, I take my liberalism very seriously. I would give a lot in a heartbeat to rid the country of it. A very dangerous cancer, and a lot of voters see it the same as I do. No time for passively sitting back, and not taking it seriously.
backcast..How about you are just spewing sound bit liberal bullcrap about Romneycare?
Ever wonder why lefty?
hoski...You do not have to be a Rhodes' Scholar to be a teacher. Gives me confidence we will reconver as a nation.
hoski,
HAHAHA I want to teach street wise students. I don't want some good conservative that I taught to run into a liberal union thug like you somewhere. Rape, pillaging, and plundering has been your professional life!
