Big Game Hunting
The most anxious part of hunting besides the night before opening day, the wait for your trophy mounts. This wait tugs and pull on a hunter, more than any wait you could ever imagine. After shooting your monster bull, or trophy ram you bring it to the taxidermy shop. Then comes the wait! Recently I've been waiting for my ram to come back and I still have months to wait! I look at picutres everyday, and will continue to unitl I get my mount back! What do you think the most anxioius part of hunting is?!
The most anxious part is the night before opener. Nothing is harder than waiting for the season to start.
Also, if you miss a nice trophy, im sure the anticipation to get back out in the field must be killer (emphasis on kill).

Leaving the trail head for a week in the wilderness and wondering what essential piece of equipment I forgot.
The most anxious part is seeing the monster buck, knowing that you might get a shot, and the thousands of possibilites that go through your mind in the minutes leading up tot he shot. I would agree that the second most hardest time is waiting for the mount, I am waiting to get back my first whitetail.
Right before you pull the trigger you get that feeling in your stomach and you can hear your heart beating. I dont care who you are or how many times you hunt you will still get this feeling.
For me it's being out in the woods waiting for shooting light.
