Stoeger Doubles?

Uploaded on September 28, 2011

I am in the market for an inexpensive double and am looking at the Stoeger uplander and condor. Any experience with these or possibly other models in their price range?

I have absolutly zero experience with either of these guns, but I have heard that condors have bad firing pins and several other things wrong with them, I'm assuming the same thing goes for the uplander, but I might be wrong

I purchased a condor for my 12 year old to shoot skeet with. After having it sent in for repair and then getting it back and still having a problem I traded it for an M2. Don't buy a Condor.

I traded the condor plus a thousand for an M2. - Getting rid of the condor made any deal good.

The first gun my dad bought me for upland hunting was a stoeger uplander. It was a 12 gauge and to say the least I hated the gun. It did not fit me good, the sight plain was terrible and it was the stiffest break open I have ever came accross. I say go another route unless you want a headache.

The opening lever on the Stoeger needs to be able to rotate those barrels up and down if pushed one way, and place them as they should be. :) Looks like another example of getting what you paid for.
