Bird Hunting
For you that don't know, Tom Knapp is no longer with Benelli. Knapp was my guru when it came to shooting a shotgun, and an excellent representative of Benelli Arms. I should have known when I saw an upland bird hunting show on my cable, and Knapp spoke of the CZ O/U that he was shooting that CZ had given him, and it was the first time he had ever used an O/U.
That's a shame, thry deserved each other.
Geez. I don't remember Tom Knapp not being benelli's spokesman/demonstrator. I wonder if the industry is just getting away from that.
I know i'm going to sound dumb when I say this but, whose tom knapp? I focus my role models on william boudette and jason varitek
Veritek is a bum! He was a Seattle Mariner, and we lost him early on! Tom Knapp is the world renowned shooting phenom, the trick shot artist, and has been a big plus for Benelli Arms. The guy is also a very good shooting instructor that is often shown on cable tv. hunting pheasants, or whatever, and having a segment on shooting technique for the game involved.
Tom Knapp is one of the worlds greatest trick shooters. He can slice a playing card in half with a .22, he can throw and shoot 7 or 8 clay targets in the air, do upside down shotgun shots, over the head shots, throw a dime in the air and put a hole through it, and many more. If you want to see him in action go to the Benelli web site and order a free dvd. It's amazing what he can do.
What I like about Knapp is the guy has a great voice for television, and can present himself very well besides being a great shot. And the guy can teach shotgunning. When Knapp speaks, I listen. Put the guy in a pheasant field, and he doesn't come across as an elitist snob...average guy that knows what he is talking about, and can be humble.
I loved Tom Knapp, he was informative, and most of all he loved chasing pheasants.
