Deer Hunting

Bobcat Takes Down a Muley Fawn!

Uploaded on February 04, 2009

Guys, check out these photos that we found on one of our favorite sites...MonsterMuleys.com. Awesome shots of a bobcat (or lynx...it seems to be up for debate) taking down a mule deer fawn in the middle of the road. Anyone ever see anything like this live and in person? Link for photos is below.

Amazing photos, its definitely a lynx though, you can tell by the tufts on its ears.

Definately a lynx, but those pictures are cool. I've never seen a lynx (bobcat, whatever) take down a deer before.

I think it is a lynx because it has bigger tufts on its ears that a bobcat. You don't see that every day.

Awesome set of picters however, I never would have guessed they would go after deer.

Awesome photos, I am surprised the cat stayed around to get his picture taken, I would have thought it would have split as soon as a person showed up.

BOBCAT...
Ive personally live-trapped, tranquilized and relocated Lynx and they dwarf that little bobcat...Both bobs and lynx have ear tufts so we cant use that as an identifier...
