Deer Hunting

dam corn

it has been so wet in Minnesota that almost no one has their corn off the field yet. at-lease 200 acres of corn within eye shot of my stand. how am i to get the deer out of that sh-t.

as my uncle said "when the corn was planted 24-30 inch wide rows you could see down the row, but now at 18" you can barley see 10 feet"
I did do some more scouting and found a good trail between the corn and the slew

Ya same here all the deer ran into the corn and nobody saw hardly anything all weekend. I live in ND, by the way.

almost all the corn is off. i have to give mad props to the farmers for busting their a-- and getting their corn off before gun season.

If you do not experience success hunting outside the corn, then you will have to quietly still hunt row by row. If you cover enough territory in a slow and silent fashion and pay caution to the wind, you will have an excellent chance at harvesting a big buck that is standing and feeding or bedded down.
