Deer field dressing cleanliness

Uploaded on March 15, 2010

The Sunday paper is delivered wrapped in two clear plastic bags. Save some for deer field dressing arm protectors. Cut two small holes in the sealed corners of the bag - one for your thumb and the other for your four fingers. After bagging and tagging your deer, slip the bags over your hands and up your arms then secure them at the upper ends with rubber bands. Slip latex gloves over the hand ends of the bags and you're now protected from ticks and blood during the field dressing process. When finished, simply roll the bags and gloves off and stuff them in another uncut bag for proper disposal. Always carry a few extra bags for protecting cameras, cell phones or packing out field treasures like morels.
