I have not. But I do have and 870 with rifled barrel. Trad. stock. can shoot3 inch. I do not, I like the 2 3/4 hornaday sst.
I got mine right before this came out. with the exception of the thumb hole stock whic I think is cool, I see, nor have I heard of any difference, besides stuff like coloring..(mine is all black/ not a blued barrel)
I'm thinking of getting a stock/tacticle(sp) so I can make sdjustments with bundles of clothing? but that is just thoughts...
anyway..IMO have a great day! :)
