A great bow for you.. at this moment that will last you till your 19 is a diamond razor edge by bowtech.. Its a great package and can be adjusted to your size with a alan wrench.

Check out some Martin Bows they are supposed to be really adjustable, and you can grow with it, not into it!

I am twelve myself infact and this is my first year hunting. I shoot a Hoyt Kobalt. This is a little pricy but is the best bow i could find. It's compact, accurate and built to hunt. Remember though to shoot different bows if possible. The BIGGEST THING IS THAT THE BOW IS COMFORTABLE FOR YOU TO HOLD,SHOOT AND ANYTHING ELSE. Let me know when you get first deer as i am excited to hopefully share my first kill.

I am a Mom of a 10 year old girl that is looking for a new bow. She wants it for target practice only and has no desire to hunt. She is thinking about joining an archery team at school. We have been looking at the Mathews Genesis (pink, of course) but didn't know if this would be a good bow for her or if there was a better one out there. It has 0% let off, is that good or do you think it would be better to have some let off? Would love some input!

i would recomend a diamond razor. they can be adjusted way more that regular bows. i think you can adjust them 30 lbs instead of the regulat 10 lbs. they are great quality

I agree with Naten, you should probably get a Diamond "Razor Edge." From what I have seen, they are really nice bows and are fairly affordable. You can get on at Cabelas.com. Good luck and good huntin' to ya.

I would say the bowtech soldier. It is a great bow to shoot and you can adjust the draw length as you grow. This bow is cheap (for bows) at $399 and comes w/ quiver, sights, wrist sling, and arrow rest. I getting one soon have shot it before. Also goes up to a 65 pound draw. Good luck.

FOR A FIRST BOW I WOULD RECOMMEND THE DIAMOND RAZORS EDGE. ABSOLUTELY A EXCELLENT QUALITY BOW AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. A LOT OF EXPERIENCED BOW HUNTERS ARE EVEN UPGRADING TO THIS BOW BECAUSE OF ITS QUALITY AND REASONABLE PRICE. HOPE YOU ENJOY THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF ARCHERY AS MUCH AS I DO.

I would highly recommend you seek a archery shop in your area. These guys know their stuff and should be more than happy to fit you with your draw lenth and poundage setup you need. Once you figure that stuff out they can show you the different bow brands and in many cases they have discounted used bows they have taken in on trade ins. Even if you cant find the bow for you there, then you know what draw and poundage to look for at pawn shops, online, or etc.
