Deer Hunting

Fool proof your hunting equipment!

Uploaded on October 05, 2009

The best thing that I've found to fool proof my hunting equipment is rubber undercoating for cars! You can get it cheap at any wal-mart or automotive store. I spray it on pretty much anything that is metal (climbing stands, ladder stands, D-rings on a safety harness, etc). The stuff is the best rust-proofing, sound dampening, and anti-slipping stuff that I've found. After it dries, it has no smell and is a dull black color. The best trick I've found is to spray it heavily on a hunting stand and while it is wet, throw a light coating of sand on it. This will be a BIG difference when it's raining or a little icy. Stay safe,
Forestygrad

That's very creative thinking. And a good safety tip for people climbing tree stands.
