Deer Hunting
If you have old or wild apple stands in your hunting area and are looking for a spring project that will improve you're hunting this fall, now is the time to prune apple trees. Even old, gone wild apple trees will produce more fruit if you do some pruning.
Just cutting away dead growth and opening up the tree by cutting out crossed and competing branches will give you a lot more apples in the fall.
The pruned branches will also make a good late winter attractor. I put a camera up and get a few photos too.
