Deer Hunting

Hunting rub lines

Uploaded on November 28, 2011

I am wondering if someone can help me with a buck that left a nice rub line. I seen him two weeks ago during opening day and not since. He was about 70 yds from that line. Any suggestions and help, it would be much appreciated.. Should I hunt the area that I seen him last and just sneak in a bit closer? I don't want to blow my cover.. Thanks for any helpful comments..

i would put doe pee on it or buck pee, he will come back then, he probably comes back at night to check the area.

Some does and fawns will come into heat late, as late as january, so some rutting activity is possible in the late season, though i feel food sources are more reliable to hunt in the late season. Rubs and scrapes can still produce. good luck.
