Bass Fishing
When out on a river or at camp for multiple days it is very hard to keep ice in the cooler. Ice blocks are a good solution, but for some reason they don't seem to sell them anymore most places. Instead, get a gallon jug of water with a screw on top (not a milk jug type)freeze it before your trip then throw it in the cooler with the rest of the ice. It will keep everything cold for twice as many days, meaning you dont have to get more ice in town. The best part is that you can drink it near the end of the trip when it starts to melt.
next time i go i will have to try it
is there still room for the beers?
I been doing this for years. Its cheap and your food will not get soggy. And it last longer like stated above. Yes caso905 they is always room for the beer or at least in my cooler!
