Remember these words "less oil, is more oil". When oiling your firearm concentrate on the moving points of the firearm. Like the trigger assembly and action. Or even the inside and outside of the barrel if its gonna be put away for awhile. These points when not oiled correctly can take wear and tear over the years or give your gun shooting problems. Theres nothing nicer in life than having a freshly cleaned/oiled gun. So remember, before you go dousing your firearm with oil and only if it really needs it, read the owners manual or check the internet for tips on where to put a drip or two at.
