What and where is the best place to look for sheds,elk,deer in Utah?

I can't tell you specifically about Utah but I think it's the same where ever you are. Search the places where deer are bedding and feeding and the route in between. Remember this may have changed since summer and fall. This may also change from year to year depending on food sources.

Also look on fence rows, as the deer often drop them when they hit the ground from jumping.

I find 99% on my sheds lying on the ground in the deer's bedding areas. That includes the thickest stuff you can find, but are also often found in creek beds and travel routes.

i have found several sheds in bedding areas but last week i found 2 different sets on fence lines. when deer cross sometimes they get hung up. so walking a fence line could land you a shed.
