Deer Hunting
Now that deer, bear, turkey, and biggame seasons are likely over what are you doing now? Im hunting predators and small game till march, then ill start scouting gobblers. (but i will keep an eye out for sheds the whole time) After that ill fish and scout relentlessly. UNTILL NEXT YEAR!

The list is long but some activities include day-hiking, canoeing, and overnight backpacking when not reloading / shooting. Not much of a fisherman...
Working up test loads for the guys that received new firearms for Christmas or ones that just want a new load to shoot deer with next deer because they heard about a new super bullet. Received a new custom set of hybird golf clubs to keep me busy till hunting season. Nothing better than a new set of big boy toys. Shooting the .257 Weatherby at the range and sighting in the new load that I worked up for deer. It seems like my reloading shop always looks like a C4 charge went off in it and I keep saying I need to get it straigntened up before the next loading session. It is amazing what I find when I straignten up my reloadeing shop. I forgot taking my grandson to basketball practice and games , oh and my granddaughter is a cheerleader for the team also.
Try to get my bench and gun room straightened up as well, get everything reloaded, cut wood as the weather permits, rabbit hunt with buddies from work, hopefully call crows and predators, get ready for trout fishing, and SLEEP!
I don't know what you call off-Season, Spring Turkey Season is around the corner, small game till March,Coyotes, Then my Hunting lease starts a new year Draw for a new spot to clean up move T-stands and have week-end work party & Hog hunt + BB-Q order port-O-lets Cut grass, open up shooting lanes
Re-Post the lease, re-clame old food plots, school new members
to R&Reg's, move in the trailers by this time its mid-June..
Mid-September its Bow-Season!
Bow-hunting a large buck until the end of month, but i've worn it a bit thin and will only get out a time or two in the next 12 days. Tonight i'm butchering one for the freezer and smoker. Next month i'll shed hunt and try to find the big bucks bedroom if he eludes me. In the spring i'll get away trout fishing and or turkey hunting a couple times. Catch up at home ASAP, mend fences, put out fires, etc...
Here in WV it is 14 weeks till spring gobbler season. You guys down south get a head start on us up here.
Her in MO. turkey season starts in april and goes into may. Another thing ill look for for sure, is moral mushrooms! Good stuff!! Also, im looking forward to home caught cavear (bass eggs) and fried bluegill
Hey Steve... got a button heh??? well.. hope you get that big en, before the days wear off...
Been knocking down the chores, walking the land looking for yotes, spotty goose late season... mending and cleaning my gear, it was a rough and long road this year! Plugging a couple of rabbitts when I know I can take my time and have a fine lunch or lunch with an old friend.
best to all!
Gunner, yeah i thougfht it was a doe, oh well, good eatn. Only have a couple more days, not sure i'll even get out again. At least the freezer is full and i have some at the Sausagemaker. Congrats on your seson. Nice mount.
Getting ready for spring turkey season. Would also like to start some activities around the camp. I am trying to put in a new skinning shed and atleast give some old blinds an upgrade.
Waiting for bow season, targets will have to do til then. Have some new gadjets to fool with, that'll pacify me for a while...
turkey is coming up as well as trout opening on april 1st. i am also getting my side business set up making poppers for bass, panfish and musky etc... keeps me plenty busy.

I'll be prepping for Deer season by preparing food plot areas and looking for sheds. To many giants walking around the property and showing up on trail camera to sleep until next deer season!
