Follow a faint blood trail

Uploaded on January 27, 2012

This tip is to help follow a faint blood trail or to aid someone who is color blind follow a faint blood trail. First, take a small empty eye drop bottle or similar bottle with a dropper on the end and fill it with hydrogen peroxide. Keep it in your pack until you are on a blood trail. When you think you have blood but are not sure if its just a red speck on a leaf or blood take the eye dropper out. Drop a few drops of peroxide on the suspected blood. If the spot starts foaming and bubbling up you have blood. If it does not and there is no reaction keep looking for blood.
