Hunting
Before your next hunt buy a bottle of peroxide and pour it into an old spray bottle. Next add drops of red, yellow, or orange food coloring into the peroxide until the mixture is a bright consistent color. Then the next time you go hunting take the peroxide with you. If you shoot a deer and the blood trail runs cold start spraying your peroxide around the area that the blood trail ended. The peroxide will react with any drops of blood that you may have missed and create a fizzy foam. The bright color of your peroxide should make the blood easier to spot. Keep spraying and follow the fizz to your animal. This should help you from loosing a blood trail and help you find your trophy.
That's good advice. Have you done this or is it theory?
Never had to use it, but in theory it should work. If you had one of those cruel mom who nearly poured peroxide on any cuts or scraps when you were younger, you probably seen it didn't take a lot of blood to create that fizz. Personally I'd rather have it with me though then run the chance of loosing my game.
I like this idea. If I can't find a deer someday, I think that I will try this.
simple yet effective !!!
