Pheasant Mount

Uploaded on December 20, 2011

The other day i shot a 21 1/2 in tail and i was wondering how much it would cost to get it mounted. I live in wisconsin so it is a pretty nice one for around here. I also want to know what kind of mount would look best i was thinking a flying one but was toldit would be too big, and that the struting one would look better. Just want to know what would look best.

Flying mount is most attractive. Both mounts are going to take up some room. Also I think it'll be easier to find room for him on the wall than on top of a piece of furniture! How was that bird fixed for spurs?

Spurs are the key. Last time I mounted a pheasant I slipped off, and would have really hurt myself had it not been for the spurs.
