Reuse Bacon Grease

Uploaded on March 12, 2009

After you are done cooking bacon, reuse its grease to cook your eggs and pancakes. It is perfectly safe to eat too, and you don't have to pack around extra cooking oil.

This also had a great flavor to eggs. Never tried it with pancake, but I will next time I make them.

I thought this was a given everywhere? But it's still a great tip, hence why I thought it was a given, lol.

Bacon grease is a decent fire starter too.

Cook your sliced potatoes and onions in bacon grease. It adds a new dimension to the spuds.
Corn bread tastes good too in bacon grease.
I like cooking my eggs in butter, they are tastier than using bacon grease.
