I was wondering if there is anybody out there who would be interested in a ladder that would allow you to anchor the entire ladder to the tree at the top of the ladder without climbing the tree or getting on the ladder. The reason I am asking is that we have made something to that effect, have gotten it patent pending and are wondering if other hunters would use something like that. If so, please send me some feedback @ jimdad07@verizon.net

Thankyou for writing, I am just trying to find out if people would want something like that. This is the best place to get other hunters' opinions. We made this device and have gotten it to work every time, now we are in the process of trying to find a manufacturer now that we have the patent, but I think it would be good to see what demand there is if any for this.

I cannot go into great detail at this time, except to say that it can be anchored to the tree at the top of the ladder from the ground. Meaning you can put the entire ladder together on the ground and secure it completely to the tree without setting foot on the ladder.

I think if it works as you say it does.It would be a big help and safer than securing as you go up.
I'm all for safer ways to putting up tree stands and would buy one.

that makes sense, it would allow you to safely set it up without someone eles holding the ladder. thats a good idea.

I know exactly what hes talking about. You setup the ladderstand and attatched to a pull type rope is a set of jaws that open up and lock tight around the tree.
