Bushy Tail Chater

I always carry 2 quarters with me when I am squirrel hunting. When I see one jump behind a tree, I rub them together in between my thumb and index finger trying to get the edges to grind past each other. It sounds like a squirrel working on a nut and ofetn has led to the squirrel coming back out.

I've always found that if you just keep walking and stop you'll get some chatter from surrounding squirrels and allows you to locate their positions.

When I was a kid hunting with my grand daddy he would carry a half doller and a quarter for a squirrel call. we always killed several squirrels, don't know if it was because fo that or just a lot of squirrels
