Snake eats HIPPO...

I don't know enough about hippos to know if its real but I will tell you a story about a trip to Thailand. I was walking along with a Thai survival instructor and I saw this area of stamped down grass about 10-12 feet square. I thought, cool an elephant must have slept here. However, I didn't see any tracks and surely an elephant must leave some big imprint. So I asked the guy what slept here. He looked and walked around and finally said, "Ahh, snake." I was very surprised and I asked him how big he thought it was. He replied, "This big." as he grabbed his thigh to show me how big he thought it would be. I then asked him which way it went, after he told me, we went the opposite direction.
It still amazes me that they can eat something that big. Unbelievable.
Thats not true it is imposible. It was probably just a little baby one.
the real question is why these guys are getting anywhere near something that could eat them!

It would depend on the size of the snake, but it's possible.
sweet! It looks to me like a west african Pygmy Hippo, I have seen real baby hippos and cant emagine one of them being eaten by a snake. Actually I took a Pic of a group of hippos on the bank in Kruger inc a very young baby- I'll post It on my profile if your interested
