Turkey Chokes

Uploaded on September 05, 2011

All,

I just bought the Benelli SBE II, and I'm itching to try out some turkey chokes/loads. What would be a good starting point?

By far my favorate choke is the patternmaster. Not sure if that is available for Benelli as I could not find one for my dad until he gave it up for a browning. If you can find one I would not hessitate at the improved modified patternmaster as it can be used for any game you want to harvest and will drastically improve your patterns esspecially at longer ranges.

I have a Carlson Super Full choke in my Weatherby SA08 and it is awesome. With Remington Hevi-shot #4's it destroys an 8 1/2" X 11" sheet of paper at 40 yards. It leaves it in shreads.

Just got the tightwad from Primos. I've never had such a great pattern in my turkey gun. If I get a shot this year and I hit where I need to, that turkey's head is coming off.
