What is the bigest animal you got and what state did you get it in and with what kind of gun did you take it with?

The highest scoring animal I have ever gotten is most likely a whitetail I shot this past fall. I think he will score in the high 140's. Not a giant but a great first whitetail. I shot him with my .243 at about 150 yards in Western Nebraska.

Same. I can't get out for any elk or caribou hunts or anything like that. (don't get me wrong, that would be awesome), but i took a 151 inch whitetail with my remington 700 this year in south central North Dakota.

The biggest animal that I have ever got has been a 5x5 mule deer in Colorado. I was using my first rifle that I got. It was a great trip and hopefully I will get even bigger animals in the future. I would love to get an elk but unfortunately have been un-able to draw these past couple years.

The biggest was a 5x6 Blacktail/Mulie cross. Shot on the west side of Fir Mountain in Hood River Valley Oregon, I used a Winchester 30-30, Remington 175Gr soft point. Shot was about 150 yds downhill.

The biggest critter was a Bull Moose Sept 8, 1989 just on the other side of a naval deep creek and man did I sing ALTO! 338 Win Mag with a Hornady 225 Soft Point with 72 grains IMR4350 federal 215 primers at 3050 fps

As far as the hardest critter to take out, shot an 8 point Mulie by Crown King AZ on the tallest ridge around and died in the deepest canyon there! An old Bear compound at 70 pounds that sounded like the screen door slamming at my Grandmother’s house!

Ten years ago, I took a fabulous bull elk on public land in Utah. He was a classic six by six. I have never entered any of my trophies, but a B & C measurer scored him 403. It only took me 50 years of elk hunting to find him.

My biggest animal ever shot was my 5x5 Mule Deer shot in NW Montana. It has a 24 inch spread and has some crazy deep forks. I shot it with my good ol' .270 win., it dropped it in its tracks.
