Benelli M2 with Slugs?

Uploaded on February 01, 2009

I just bought a Benelli M2 and I was wondering if anyone knows what choke to use if I were to shoot slugs through it. I use Brenneke rifled slugs. I spent enough money on the gun and I don't want to wreck it. The barrell is not rifled. Any information about this would be great. Thanks!

You won't wreck your barrel with slugs but you can wreck the accuracy of slugs with too tight a choke. Most slugs shoot best out of Cylinder, Skeet or Improved Cylinder chokes.
The Brennekes are a good choice for a smoothbore gun. I also like Federal's TruBall slugs in a smoothbore.
