How to start a fire if you forget your matches.

Uploaded on May 23, 2009

If you forget your matches and you need to start a fire here is a way that is efficient and easy to start one.You will need a 9-volt battery which a lot of electronic devices use,so check your flashlight or GPS,etc. and a steel wool pad which you would use to scrub the camp dishes that does not have soap on it,if it has soap on it wash it in the water and get the soap out.(make sure it's very dry before you use it)Now take your battery and lay the steel wool on a rock and get your tinder ready, tap the steel wool with the terminal end of the battery and your steel wool will catch on fire but be quick about getting the tinder on it and you have a fire.
