Pen Knife Sheath/Retainer

Pen knives and compact pocket knives are handy, but slip out of pockets easily and are virtually impossible to retrieve once lost in the field. To prevent loss, a USB flash-drive case works great as a sheath. Most flash-drive cases feature a Velcro flap for secure closure; plus, they typically have snap swivels that provide attachment to other gear. These inexpensive cases are just the right size for many small folding knives, and are found at most major discount stores and office supply retailers.
