Spammer target of opportunity
Uploaded on July 19, 2010Why is it that this Message Board has become a target of opportunity for drive bys from the spammers? First it was Sen456 who jumbled up all the threads before getting 86ed from the site. Now it is Outdoorguy flogging his paracord bracelets on every post whether it has anything to do with the thread or not. This whole site is becoming a total waste of time. Your thoughts?

I hate spammers too. They have trouble getting into our emails, now they hit our favorite used sites.
its quite funny really, some of the stuff they attach their tenticles too make no sense!
its not just the braclet dude, its all of the spammers!
To bad SPAM (that wonderful meat substitute) that we enjoy hot or cold gets attached to these folks!!
Now we have multi-lingual spam from this Watches guy. Has this site become part of their mental health therapy?
lmao this is great, i needed a good laugh, i was wondering what the heck that stuff was all about.they should put these comments in the jokes page, you guys are funny, happy hunting
Do these parasitic spammers really think that we will warm up to them and want to buy their products after they trash our site with their lame spam ads?
You know the worst bit about it? now about 50% of the time someone wants to post something ligit they have to fight their way through the filter!
Yeah, we have to fight our way through the spam filter, yet these morons zip through unopposed. I think F&S needs to stop outsourcing their tech support.
Now this guy bagomag Has gone 70 points in the hole alienating all of us by coming onto the site for no other purpose than to hawk his magnesium blocks because as he is quick to point out he hates stuff made in china. He might have hade some takers if he had spent some time here on the site interacting with us and building up his Bona rides and credibility before plugging his wares.
Agreed Dave. God, I hate spam.
It does ruin some good threads having to weed through all that crap. Like sourdough said, at least get to know some folks on here before cramming your product down everyone's throat
Out of curiousity, I checked out his website, and its not even up and running. Maybe he lit all his magnesium blocks on fire and burned down his warehouse.
spam is a lot like a politician...it is about as useful as a screen door in a submarine...and about as welcome as a case of lice.
Guys, the outdoor life website is much, much worse. I actually enjoy reading the spam posts over there, you can tell the foreign guy is using some kind of translator that is way, way off. It's really funny!
