Uploaded on July 17, 2009

Next time you dry your clothes in the dryer... save the lint and use it as a fire starter... it is very flammable and is totally free.

I read this somewhere and tried it once. Works great!

McCaffrey, a writer here, says the real definition of tinder is stuff that will catch fire from steel and flint [from a spark] and if it requires a match, that is kindling. The dryer lint is true "McCaffrey" tinder!
