Q:On top of what Carl said, "Tech vs Functional plus Weather",,,,,,,,,,,, Your classification card is like reputation, it shows what shooting class you’re in, but it doesn’t take into account your “CHARACTER” when things go south!

Q:RECOIL! OK boys and girls, now for the real question regarding recoil in rifles. Some folks routinely shoot 12 gauge shotgun loads that range from 32 ft/lbs recoil energy for 2 3/4 - 1 1/4 oz load to 52 ft/lbs for 3" 1 5/8 oz loads (standard velocity) all season long and yet grouse about magnum caliber rifle recoil. My question is: How many of you have actually fired the big magnums like the .300 Weatherby, .300 Remington Ultra Mag, .338 Win mag, etc.? One time when you were 14 at Uncle Bob's farm during the family picnic doesn't count! I mean fired more than a few shots from a rifle of adequate weight and proper design for the cartridge so chambered. I contend that most objections are rooted in myth and hearsay or a POS rifle like the poorly designed synthetic stocked .338 Win Mag that I tried with 250 grain loads back in the day.

Q:OK, what is your preference in big game calibers? There is quite a bit of chatter in the Forbes 24B blog concerning light rifles and stiff recoil. Do you do as Dr. Ralph suggests and just hitch up your big boy panties and shoot a heavier recoiling rifle for the performance or do you opt for a lighter cartridge because you don't shoot the bad boys well enough?

Q:Serious question, you’re in High Power Rifle Competition, how do you win a match by the rules and without cheating which includes National and International Champions?

Q:Has anyone ever heard of or attended a shooting program called The Appleseed Project? I would like to go to one of the shoots this summer after shooting 2 of their AQT targets, and I must say that it's quite a challenge. Also, what are the best upgrades I can get for my Ruger 10-22 to improve my accuracy the most?
