Q:Well, she's officially done for the year and I gave my 11/87 SP the annual cleaning. Top gas piston was on upside down, probably causing the chip to break out the bottom ring but the O ring was still OK. In the receiver, there was the normal amount of crud, but interestingly enough, a fair amount of flora and fauna also inhabited the inside of the receiver (seeds, duck mite carcasses, etc) and except for a broken extractor (replaced in 5 minutes) this old shotgun performed without a single malfunction throughout the dove, teal and waterfowl season. There were accuracy issues on a couple of occassions, but I think that was due to a loose nut behind the stock. It will be interesting to see if the Browning Maxus can follow suit given this kind of neglect. Don't forget to take your choke tubes out and clean them so we don't have to address any questions about how to get a seized choke tube out come September. Getting ready for spring turkeys, let 'er come!!

Q:So after weeks of shooting 3 1/2 in. waterfowl loads my choke tube is seized up in the barrel. I forgot to put in my anti-seize grease and I'm paying the price. Know any good methods for getting it out? I have one idea I'll post on first answer and I'm curious if anyone has tried it.

Q:I have a Stevens 620-A 12 gauge that will not hold the shells in the magazine tube, there are not very many links to this gun out there. I am fixing this for my grandpa that has had it since 1946. Any suggestions on what could be the issue I am missing? Thanks
