Arizona Wildlife-Friendly Fence Upgrade

Mule Deer Foundation Campsite
off Dugas Rd., Tonto National Forest
Prescott, AZ
Saturday, April 13, 2013 (rain or shine)
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Take exit #268 off I-17. Follow Dugas Rd. east approximately 4 miles, until it meets the intersection of Yellow Jacket and Ash Creeks on the south side of the road. Look for Mule Deer Foundation signage. Click here for a map.

Volunteers should arrive at the meet-up location by 8 a.m. Groups will carpool in high-clearance, 4x4 vehicles over half a mile of rough terrain to the worksite.

It will be hot and you may be easily sunburned at that elevation. Expect to be alternately kneeling and standing for long periods of time. Bring your own lunch, but stay for a celebratory cookout at the end of the day.
