Q:From my window at work (overlooking where Lake Erie and the Niagara river meet) I can see a huge raft of Canvasbacks. There are others (bluebills, some redheads), but the Canvasback is my favorite diver. I'm glad they're still here.

Q:Does anyone on here hunt crows? I ask because the sky's are black right now with crows and they have been for the last 3 days. My apartment is right on the Mississippi River in Minneapolis and that must be a main migration route for them because I've never seen anything like this in my life. I wish I could post a video so you all could see what I'm seeing. Anybody else experiencing anything like this this winter?

Q:Time to vent; 68 degrees tomorrow and it sure is hard to get motivated to go kill a deer or fight cottonmouths over a shot at an all too rare duck. This season has been very strange in Alabama, probably snow during spring gobbler season,,,
