Q:After doing some searching, and second-guessing myself every step of the way, I finally broke down and bought new camos. I got the Under Armour Ridge Reaper set. Anyone have reviews/comments on it?

Deer Hunting Camo and Clothing

Q:A hunter told me today that he thought he needed some solution to remove the UV reflection from his camo hunting coat. He said he had been "busted" several times this season by deer. He was passing his infra red game camera and it snapped a picture of him - in the picture his woodland camo coat was shown as reflecting almost completely white (while his camo pants were dark and non-reflective). He had convinced himself that this white was due to the cloth reflecting UV light. While I did not debate the issue with him, I am at a loss as to why he thinks that an infrared camera (recording one end of the light spectrum) could be affected by UV refection when UV is at the other end of the spectrum. I do not have any personal experience with taking photos with infra red game cameras. Does anyone have any thoughts on how an infrared camera would/could possibly be affected by, or show susceptibility to UV radiation? Am I missing something or is he wrong?
