By Kim Hiss
Wishing you a Happy Turkey Day, FSHuntress style! Those of you who have been reading the blog from the beginning may remember this photo from the F&S archives. If you squint, you can read the caption, "Draggy skirts are an abomination." Remember that and you'll go far. Happy Thanksgiving! -K.H.

Hey I had a great Thanksgiving also...Monday (Dec 1St) was the first day of deer season here in PA and i had a great time. My youngest nephew bagged a 10-point that field dressed at about 200 pounds it took 3 teenage boys to get it out of the woods for him, he is only 10. Also 2 other nephews got their buck..i didnt get to shoot because the nice aunt that i am I let my nephew who just moved back from NC use my gun and i got to watch him kill a 4-point half rack right before quitting time...now it is my turn...i will be out saturday looking to bag mine.
Hey Laura,We didn't have any turkey, we had to suffer with elk steaks, yum!I love Thanksgiving, for us it is 5 day of bow hunting.
Hopefully everyone had a turkey filled Thanksgiving!
