Heat Water In A Cabin
To construct an efficient wood-fired water heating system, install an insulated tank with a cold-water intake in the cabin's loft. Run 1-inch-diameter, threaded galvanized pipe from the cold-water outlet down to the rear of your fireplace. Use threaded U-joints to construct an S-shape, then continue the pipe back to the tank's hot-water intake. Heated water will rise naturally to the tank and push cooler water down.
