Rhode Island - Worden's Pond Largemouth bass don't get a great deal of love in a state where the striper is king, but the many small ponds and lakes can make the effort worthwhile. Worden's Pond west of State Highway 110 in South Kingstown is one example of a water that very occasionally gives up bigmouths in the 9-pound class and, much more frequently, 2- to 3-pounders.
