The NRA is not to blame for all the mass killings but they are to blame for their extremely weak responses to the tragedies. They come off as a bunch of crazies to the majority of the citizens of the USA. They are extremely polarized and therefore loose the middle ground and it reminds me of todays republican party. They are not willing to listen to anyone on the other side and therefore will loose. Here is a tip. Politics and government are like a relationships and healthy relationships thrive on compromise, working together for the better good and not being so caught up in your own agenda. Have an open mind and hear someone out. you never know, you might just learn something.

Principles should never be compromised .... The NRA is right in not doing so. Doing so in politics is how we lose our liberties inch by inch and law by law. I did not give you the -1s - still hold that when someone does they should have enough guts to say why.

Looks like Remington hired Savage to design the 783.

Hey coachsjike. I share your frustration with the "Progressives" using mass-murder as an excuse to further their anti-gun/anti-2nd Admendment agenda, but if you think the NRA alone can "guarantee" Obama won't act in a partisan and knee-jerk manner, you've been staying up too late.
The NRA has been warning everyone who will listen since Election 2008 that Obama and this Administration, from the Attorney General on down, was anti-matter to all the things gun related we all love and enjoy. The NRA has fought every political battle and worked tirelessly to keep Obama out of a 2nd term. That's what your membership is worth. What did YOU do to kick him out? You better get your 2 US Senators and Representatives to see things your way - the NRA can't do it alone.

Triple barrel doesn't appeal to me.

I'm a NRA member, have been for over 35 years. Their continuous message that they're standing between citizens and an tyrannical govt. bent on subjecting us citizens is getting real old.
I don't want to hear that we're not willing to compromise, by doing so they identify us as standing with extremists. Besides, Wayne didn't bother to ASK me for my opinion...he took it upon himself to assign me my opinion as a NRA member. A simple compromise could be to volunteer ourselves to a more thorough background check when buying the firearms the uninformed public think are so scary.
We regulate lots of things. We don't allow children to drive vehicles, purchase alcohol or tobacco, or purchase firearms...and no one equates any of those as a govt takeover.

I'd sure enjoy one of those HK762A1s. Too bad they're six grand.

Compromise is for spineless jellyfish. Obama will not give up until he and his globalist backers get their totalitarian new world order. Corrupt governments (like ours) thrive on control and more is never enough. Our founders warned us about this but modern man in his arrogance thinks he is smarter and better educated. This is ludicrous. Proof? Well, we now have a baboon for a president. Thanks geniuses.

How are you supposed to aim the zip, not that I would expect any amount of accuracy out of it!

Hi...

Triple barrel...?? Nope. Too pricey, and I'd prefer a double, a pump or an auto to one of those.

Of course, if you're just in the mood for another toy, well...go for it...!!

Spineless jellyfish?
Globalist backers of a totalitarian new world order?
Baboons?

Thanks for identifying yourself, I'm quite sure John Q. Public views your rant as a voice of reason...pardon me if I'd rather not have you as a spokesman for us gun owners.
