Do you have a great trail cam photo? Enter it into our 2009 contest for a chance to win gear from Field & Stream! Amazing Pictures!
number 14 is a beautiful picture
#50 looks like Sasquatch.
Does anybody else kind of doubt that some of these are "trail cam" photos? Some of them just look too good and appear to have been taken from positions that would seem highly unlikely to have placed a trail cam.
Such as #9 and (no offense gman3186) but also #14.
Whats going on in the first picture??? looks like someone hunting aligators and using bait???
I tend to agree. I don't think all of them are trail cam photos.
Micropterus, I had the same thought, so made sure to check them before including. For example, the guy who entered the duck photos also included a photo of how he sets his trail cams to capture these shots. Its pretty amazing how good the quality is when you're using these cameras with some serious knowledge of photography.
Well there you have it then. I can agree that the duck photos are legit, if the guy was setting cams on logs with the one pure intention of photographing ducks. Granted, I bet he's not using a $100 trail cam though. . .
Oh well, mystery solved.
Editor: how about posting that "how he sets up trail cam" photo? We demand validation!!! (just kidding)
Makes me want to buy more trail cameras, there are some amazing pictures in here!
#12 and #15 are my favorites. Some of those are deff. not trail cam pics!
awesome photo contest. there should be more like these! some are so original and could never be caught with normal photography.
number 7 is awesome lol. great photos
i like number 1 its pretty cool
These are sweet pictures...all of them!
Great pics but #19 is my favorite!! Can I get a copy of that to frame??
I dont care how they were taken, these are some GREAT pictures....Thanks for showing them!!!
Love is in the Air...............
In my amateur opinion, it looks like #22 was baited, i.e., somebody put a carcass in front of their trailcam to attract animals.
If that's the case, I would hope that the photo would be disqualified from receiving prize or compensation.
However, hopefully I'm wrong about it being baited.
Dancing under the Stars...
I like the otters.
Awesome pictures! I'm glad I don't have to walk to my treestand in the dark in mountain lion or bear country! Loved all of them, the eagles, turkeys, coyotes, foxes, bobcats, ducks, moose porn, elk, ...
My eyes my eyes, moose porn aaaarrgggggg. Very cool pics tho. does make ya want to put a few more trail cams out dotn it.
Glad i don't have most of these predators in my hunting area. I would hate to become the hunted.
wow them are some amazing shots
In my humble opinion, I would have to say #49 is the best one. Only due to the fact I know who he is and he is also currently deployed. God Bless you Marcus and your family. See you in Oct for rifle season my friend!
Does anyone know what the critters are in photo #26? Is this a photo taken in North America, or is it from Africa? Those critters look a little like hyenas. Or could they instead be baby black bear cubs? Raccoons? Just what ARE those critters?
These are awesome shots.
Oops, I mean Photo #16. Does anyone know what the creatures are in Photo #16?
These are some great photos, wish I had some luck with my trail cams.......sigh
Great photos! I enjoyed them!
Who days technology and wildlife can't co-exist?!? Did anybody else notice with wind turbine on the horizon of #14?

I'd like to request a feature! Can we comment on individual photos rather than the whole lot in one place? I'd love for this group to be able to add their own captions to one photo at a time. The look on the "faces" of some of these animals BEGS us to post what we think they would say if they could talk!

AWESOME pics #14 has to be my Fav.
TW I know they aren't hyenas or black bear cubs, they look like they are some kind of weasel or closely related to them, maybe a type of ferrit im not sure
picture 16 seems more like martians than a ferrets. All in all, I'm thinking that I need to purchase a couple trail cams for my back woods
#16 is a family group of fishers, or "fisher-cats".
Number 14 is a great shot. There are a few others of that quality too... anyone know what kind of trail cams are used?
I'm sorry, but the Turkey fight was the best of the lot. However, I do agree that the duck photos were simply fantastic.
Hollywood ain't got nothin' on Mother Nature...great pictures everybody..
Incredible Pics. Any good cheap trail cam ideas for Ohio deer season?

These are all great! I'm gonna look through these everyday so I can remember what the woods are like. Going to school in the city doesn't lend itself well to getting into the forests.
what the h is going on in pic 1
wish i could take a picture but today i saw a cougar for the first time and it was feeding on a great 17 point
