I have one ? With the fact that there where mobile device's used in a state where this is illegal. Will this affect the B&C eligibility????

ok kevin is the dad so you no that now and mason shot at it in the stand and his gun jammed and he called his dad and brother to come get the buck and it is legal to use cell phones and what not and kevin and dillon surrounded the buck while mason pushed out the buck in there pasture and they shot it

Ok well the report said that Mason's shot went wide so he did not shot it at this time anyway... Then he called his dad and brother on a cell phone witch make's two way talking posible right??? This should make this an unfair chase harvest... Also Kevin is holding the deer in all the Pic's this makes me think that he is the one that killed the deer after the two way conversation...

B&C dosen't allow mobile devices...

2010 NebraskaDeer hunting Regulations It is unlawful to use a two-way radio or any other electronic device's to transmit information about the location of any game animal or game bird............

ok crazydazz, mason's shot went wide so yes he did shoot at the deer and missed it, after that his gun jammed and he called his dad and brother so come help him get the deer. Alot of people have been questioning the whole cell phone thing and if it is legal or not but the local game warden looked it up and found the law that said it is legal because mason did not use a two-way radio from a vehicle of any type. he was walking out of the field while he was calling, no two way radio was used, only a cell phone and that is not illegal. and kevin is the one who shot the deer, so that is why he is holding it. i do believe that the game warden would know the laws and everything and if they were breaking a law wouldnt he take it away? so thanks have a nice day

A Cell Phone is a two way electromic device that transmits information about the location of game animals. What the vehicle has to do with it is beond me. If there is a loop hole in Nebraska Law then it must be addressed.
This is a above par deer and deserves the fair chase.

Additional Info

Kevin Petrzilka and his two sons, Dillon, 20, and Mason, 17, had to assemble quickly and literally chase down this monster buck of a lifetime. Mason was the first to spot the buck and took a shot that went wide. His gun jammed, forcing him to call his father and brother for reinforcements. After Kevin downed the buck, the attention and the measuring tapes came out, indicating Kevin’s trophy could be a new typical record for the Cornhusker state, if those G3s are typical, that is.
