Road trip! Kennel the dog. Slide the shotgun behind the seat. And don’t forget the snacks; you’re bound to get hungry on that long drive to hunting camp. Monster the staple for gun truck crews in Iraq. While driving gun truck I was drinking 2-4 of the big cans in a night [the one with a screw on top], but I was also driving so much I did 8000 plus miles in 4.5 months
Well I don't mind the sodium intake, while in the Army at Ft Huachuca I used get salt cravings because I lost so much sodium and potassium due to perspiration. I still live in AZ, so I have a high sodium and potassium intake with a 3-4 gallon per week intake of gatorade
Glad to see my granola bars werent in here I eat 5-10 of those during a full day in the treestand.
With all due respect, Quinm1007... I'd hate to see your teeth.
... but being a soldier myself, I get it.
I used to drink a ton of monster when I was in college and racing motocross but haven't had one in the better part of 3 years now and have no desire for another one.
Great article! Now, is there a print-out version I can use as a shopping list?

A lot of the snacks aren't meant to be eaten in one sitting. Moderation is key when it comes to snacks. Don't forget to mention all of the other ingredients that don't belong like MSG.
Thank God Jack Links jerky wasnt in there I always eat em on the road. But i think the monster is fine if you drink it with 2 bottles of water
That China One Buffet wouldn't happen to be the one in Sidney Ne across the road from Cabela's would it? LOL. I've overloaded there many times after working up an appetite spending money at my favorite place and trying to think up a way to explain it to my wife!
