Complete genius anyone can buy a camera at wall mart and take photos but to leave it at that would be like saying that Michael Angelo missed his calling as a house painter, the true work of a master is when you are submersed into the work to become one with the action of what ever is being reflected upon.I am guessing that in order to get this kind of quality photos he probably gets one of these masters out of every 2000 to 3000 photos he takes. This takes time and dedication, this is also a very personal thing he does..with that I say JOB WELL DONE,thank you for sharing your heart and talent with the hunting world
Thanks again

I wish I had taken those pictures. There are some nice opportunity photos there but some are true demonstrations of photographic skill.

Additional Info

As we learned after our interview with Dusan Smetana in the August 2011 issue of Field & Stream, he is more than an outdoor photographer. He’s a Wild West romantic. He’s a self-described meat hunter. He’s a dedicated family man. He races pigeons. He’s very, very funny. And, yes, he’s a brilliant outdoor photographer. Here, Smetana has shared some of his favorite images he’s captured over the years. You can view more of his shots, and purchase prints, here.
