When photographer Tim Christie saw this whitetail buck in the outskirts of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, he reached into the backseat of his pickup truck for a camera. By the time he looked back, the buck had moved directly in front of the truck, apparently peering through the windshield at the toy bobblehead of a whitetail making a rub, which Christie keeps on his dashboard. “My son bought me that bobblehead as a Father’s Day present,” he says. “This could become a whole new hunting strategy.”

What happened there peter?
Anyways amazing pictures. Just makes you appreciate the outdoors even more.
Great pics but you're going to get blood on your snow camo carrying coyotes that way.

Great photos!
Love those moose photos
The photos of the elk fending of the wolves just shows how much people who think they know everything about the outdoors are missing. The photos are amazing and someday it'd be so sweet to go on an elk hunt.

Nothing like fishing off Brenton Point, you should try it off Bondi Beach sometime
Great pics! Makes me want to play the lottery more

These are all great photos
My favorite part of F&S magazine!
I wish I could take these kind of pictures.
One doesn't pause long enough to realize how long a photographer has to stay patient, waiting to get just the right shot. Some of these photos were taken off hand and turned out extrodinary. The others caught just the right moment which lends beauty and reality to their completion.
Terrific group of pictures.
Hey bimbo thats me in the photo and i HAVE fished bondi..off the rocks by the old swim club where the shark netting is attached!
What a great compilation of photos. This catches a lot of what people dont know about hunting. Just the beauty of the outdoors.... not always shooting and killing contrary to belief.
great pics
Nice wonderful pictures!
Excellent pictures.....
I love outdoors pics!!
There's no "luck" involved at all in taking those wonderful pictures. You have to be in the right place at the right time and sitting here typing just doesn't cut it.
Great Photo's! But #16, Wapiti and Wolves, just because that pack was found the next day with a different kill doesn't mean they did not also kill the bull in the picture.
All are great pics, but the one with the mounts in the store is the best IMO. That's something that you don't see anymore.
great pics
Makes me want to leave the gun at home and take the camera instead sometimes.
As someone said, "Luck favors the prepared." Obviously ALL these folks had cameras prepared!
