• Put a piece of tape over the muzzle on rainy or snow days.
• After capping your rifle, press beeswax around the bottom edges of the cap to keep moisture out.
• Keep your capper in a Ziploc bag.
• If you come in for lunch on a cold day, leave the gun outside so moisture doesn't condense in the barrel and dampen the charge.
