Spice up Venison With Bacon
Deer fat that is included in ground venison does not break down completely when cooked, leaving a waxy coating in your mouth. To make venison burger that tastes terrific, trim away and discard all deer fat and grind a pound of smoked bacon with each 10 pounds of lean deer meat. The bacon fat adds a clear juiciness when cooked, and its smoky taste is enticing.

My experience has been the opposite, taking my cold rifle inside warm vehicle or building has fogged the lenses on outside. any scope of mine that fogged up inside would be in the garbage asap.
great tips thanks
