Emilee Dize, 11 years old, of Ononcock, Virginia landed this 63-pound, 6-ounce black drum (Pogonias cromis) while fishing the eastern shore of Virginia. It took her 40 minutes to pull in the catch. The current female junior record is 63 pounds, 0 ounces, caught on March 19, 2004.
