Rattlin' Chug Bug
Surface poppers are basic, and this Storm topwater is a coast-to-coast favorite. A free-rolling internal weight serves as a rattle and adds casting distance because it rolls to the rear when you toss the plug. Importantly, that same weight moves inside as the plug is popped on the water, providing some critical extra wiggle. Shown is a 3â„8-ounce version in bleeding Tennessee shad; also available in 1â„4 ounce; 17 colors. $5;

I love this list, some of my favorite lures are on this list and I have used most of these at some points. I love the chug bugs and zara spooks, they have some of the best action of any lures.
The strike that takes place when a bass ambushes these lures is what keeps me hooked on bass fishing,
this is a great list for a beginner fisherman like me. some of these are already in my dad's tackle box. thanks mr. merwin.
